One of the most important works in the Crouch Gallery where our key paintings from the Australian Impressionists school are presented. While the painting itself is sound, the frame has been marred by overpainting of the gilded mouldings.

The bronze paint over the gilded areas has to be removed to allow for regilding and appropriate ageing.
